Still Not Hating To Say "I Told You So"

Actually I was wrong in one respect, I thought there might initially be more binge drinking and problems associated with that when the licensing laws changed in England. But as for the change's effect on Law & Order it seems I was right.

One good thing about this is that it does seem to be a step towards proving that if you treat people like responsible humans then they'll behave like responsible humans.

Very little seems to have changed at all in Conisbrough and Doncaster. We already had plenty of pubs with late licences anyway. The beer's still shit no matter how many hours a day you serve it. According to my students 'Trilogy' is open till 6am. Like that's gonna affect me. The drop in violence could be down to any number of factors... it's been pretty damn cold for a start. As you insinuate though just the fact of not being 'told what to do' seems to have made people more relaxed about drinking anyway. Of course following that logic the upcoming smoking ban should be great for Ken Clarke and his BAT shares!
